Swap 'n Sell, gates open at 7:00 AM, goes to dark. Admission is $2.00 per person. Booth space rental is $12.00 Sat. or $15.00 for Sat. & Sun. Also, test & tune/grudge racing Sat. afternoon, 2:00PM til dark. $20.00 per vehicle.

SUNDAY, Oct. 11 AT HARRISBURG, IL CARS FOR KIDS ACCELAQUARTER RACE PARK.
Swap 'n Sell continues.
2 Classes of Car bracket racing added, guaranteed purse,
E.T. 1 - 7.50 & quicker payout 3 places, $250, $150, & $100.
E.T. 2 - 7.51 & slower payout 3 places, $100, $75, & $50.
Also, Motorcycle bracket racing, if minimum of 5 entries, 50% entry fee payout, 2 places.

Test & Tune, Burnout Contest, and grudge races, as well.

Gates open at 10:00 AM.
Time trials 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Racing begins at 2:30 PM.

Admission: Spectators & pit crew members-$8.00 per person
Children under 12 free.

Test & tune, grudge racing-$20.00
(car and driver)

Car bracket classes-$30.00 (car and driver) E.T 1 & E.T. 2

Motorcycle bracket class-$20.00 (bike & driver)

As the months turn cold and we put the vehicles away in the garage, my thoughts turn to the car shows this past year and all the fun that has been had. Most of all you that have turned out to support the shows, to give to the various charities that have been a pert of these shows.

Walking into Tator’s Dodge in South Salem is like walking back in time, from the vintage Coca-Cola vending machine to the original cash register, still in use after nearly 95 years. Yet the fate of the small car business, the country’s oldest remaining Dodge dealership, now lies in the hands of bankruptcy court Judge Arthur Gonzalez. Tator’s Dodge is one of almost 800 Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge dealerships around the country to be slated for elimination in Chrysler’s proposed restructuring, which Mr. Gonzalez is to rule on June 9.
